Graduation 1952!! It seems we have waited all our lives for this moment. The climax to our High School career. Therefore it seems only fitting that we pause a few minutes to thank those who have made this moment possible.
We, of the Graduating class, the last who will graduate from this High School on St. Paul Street, owe a great deal to this school, for it has seen us through four years of secondary education. At times it has been over-crowded but this has all helped to foster in us a spirit of co-operation.
Perhaps the past seems imperfect and the future indefinite but we have been counselled generously and understandingly through this period of transition by our teachers. It would be nice to say that we' have always agreed but we haven't, yet I think these disagreements have increased mutual respect in that we reached a better understanding.
Naturally we shall always be indebted to our parents who have tried to help us overcome our awkward and difficult High School years.
So, now we stand on the doorstep of tomorrow to put into practice all the knowledge which we have assimilated.
To you our teachers and parents go our heart-felt thanks. We hope we shall in some small measure live up to your expectations.
