Doug was Senior Pastor of the Embassy of God Church in Oshawa, Ontario since 1983. He passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on December 27, 2021 at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa.
Loving husband of Judy for 44 years. Cherished father of Derek (Sarah) and Andrea (Jonathan). Devoted Papa of Noah, Shiloh and soon to be baby girl Lillian Grace Kelly. Dear brother of Carleen (David) Kalamen. Beloved uncle of Brodie (Natalie) Kalamen, Ryan Kalamen, Kerri (Nathan) Frey, Justin (Jennifer) Hall, Joshua (Stephanie) Hall and Trevor (Erin) Hall. Doug will be fondly remembered by leaving a legacy of leadership to the community and various nations around the world. He was best known for his infectious smile, kindness & compassion, and his generous heart. Doug was always making time for "the one," and making every individual feel important and loved.
