Eleftherios Spero Hilton Paravantes passed away peacefully on March 26, 2013 at the age of 78.
Ted Paravantes was the Vice Principal of KSS from 1974 to 1976.
Before Caribou College was formed, Ted was the Director of the Adult Education Department of the School District. The Adult program when Ted was the Director operated from the top floor of KSS. When the College was created, Ted became VP of KSS and later the principal of Westsyde Secondary and then Norkam Secondary.
Ted was a remarkable and effective educational leader. He placed students first on his list of educational priorities. He was a compassionate and caring person who contributed much to the lives of many individuals. He will be missed by his family, friends and former students and colleagues.
