Suddenly and far too soon, Philip Michael Garfield passed away on October 18, 2001.
Phil will be dearly missed by his loving wife Alice, daughter Stacey, son-in-law Dave, and grandson Dayton, his sister Joan (Gerry) and nephews Greg and David, his brother Jim (Heather) and nieces Brittany and Jessie, his Dad (Marg) and step-sister Donna (Kyle) and their two sons. Phil was pre-deceased by his Mom, Matilda (babe) Garfield.
Phil was born and raised in Kamloops, attending St. Ann's, John Peterson, Kam High and Cariboo College. His working years were spent in ranching, forest service and logging, mostly in and around the Kamloops area.
Phil enjoyed everything outdoors, fishing, hunting, wildlife, his horse - Corby -, trapping, a little golf, snowmobiling, travelling in his 5th wheel, and just being "Garfield On Tour." He spent many hours in the "shop" just doing "guy stuff" with the Rayleigh gang. He also played senior men's slowpitch and the KATS, during which time he made many new and lasting friends.
