It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George Allister (Allie) Campbell on July 20, 2011, in Kamloops B.C. at the age of 86.
Left to mourn his passing are: his loving wife of 63 years Dorothy (Dot); their children, Dianne (Ross) Parkin, George (Fran) Campbell, Jean (Norm) Stelter, and Laurie (Michael) Holbrook; grandchildren, Stacey, Mike (Sue), Kelvin (Tara), Cassandra (Dustin), Andrea, Andrew, Anthony (Aleksandra), and Giorsa; great grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Max, Evan, Rylan, Mersaya, Kenzie, Donavan, and Layne. He is also survived by his brother John Campbell, sister Elsie Fleming and their families.
Allie was predeceased by his parents Matthew and Jeanie and granddaughter Jennifer Marie.
Allie was born May 11, 1925 in Kamloops, B.C., where he resided for most of his life. He started his printing career at the Kamloops Sentinel and then with the Kamloops Daily News. In November 1960 Allie along with his wife started their own company, Overland Press. There, they worked side by side, along with their children, until Allie's retirement in 1990.
Allie spent many years giving back to his community in a variety of ways; he was an honorary member and past President of the Kamloops North Rotary Club, as well as a Paul Harris Fellow, past President of the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce, and then a director for the B.C. Chamber. He also served on the Thompson Valley Savings Credit Union Board, and the Overlander Extended Care Hospital Board. In addition, he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #107 Chase, a member and Leader of the 3rd Kamloops Boy Scouts, and spent many years being Camp Cook at the Boy Scout summer camp. In 1993 Allie was also awarded the City of Kamloops Centennial Medal.
Allie was also a member Pacific Coast Militia Rangers and WWII veteran.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Campbell at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC.
Tom leaves behind his wife of 63 years Betty, son Crichton (Julie Ann), grandson Tommy, daughter Kathryn (Gardner). He will also be missed by caring cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends made over the years.
Special Memories include life on Big Shuswap Lake, fishing trips to Pender Harbour, then later at Quadra Island, 40 years of skiing and socializing at Silver Star Mountain Resort, hunting for elk and exploring southeastern BC, exploring and travelling in Canada and further afield.
Predeceased by his father Crichton, mother Lucy Anne and sister Faye, all of Kamloops, BC.
