At the School Board meeting of November 4, 2002 the Board of Trustees approved Scenario #3 presented in a staff report to the Board concerning a possible reconfiguration of John Peterson Secondary School and Kamloops Secondary School. Scenario #3 included staffing both schools as if they were one school with one principal and three vice-principals.

At the Board meeting of December 16, 2002 the Board of Trustees rescinded the previous action of November 4, 2002 and set the date for a public meeting to hear representation on any reconfiguration of John Peterson Secondary and Kamloops Secondary. The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2002 at the Henry Grube Education Centre.

Parents who are interested in giving input into any reconfiguration of John Peterson and Kamloops Secondary are urged to attend this important meeting.
