He attended school in Kamloops and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 2003. He was currently enrolled at U.B.C. to obtain a Master's Degree. Brent loved learning and his teachers appreciated his inquisitive mind. He reached out to those he helped as a social worker treating them with respect, kindness and patience.
He was an avid hiker, loved nature, animals (especially Crissy and Veronica), cooking, music and all things beautiful and uplifting. Brent was, above all, a gentle spirit - generous, kind, loving, thoughtful and considerate. He was a Big Brother and enjoyed the many hours he served others.
