McCULLY, James G. aka Ben It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James Gilbert (Jim) McCully on April 4, 2011. Jim passed away peacefully in Phoenix Arizona surrounded by his loving family. Jim battled long and hard against cancer, he was a brave warrior. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Gilbert and Jessie McCully. Jim is survived by his sister Jan (Bill) Oram, brother Gerry (Rhonda) McCully sister Maureen McCully and his wife Tanya, nephews, a niece and their children. Jim was born Nov. 19, 1943 in Vancouver. In 1951 the family moved to Kamloops and lived at Knouff Lake fishing resort. Jim graduated from Kamloops Secondary and 5 years later received his Bachelor of Science at UBC. Jim worked as a Data Architect designing computer programs for over 40 years. He retired in July 2009. After retirement his desire was to spend a year on the tournament bridge trail and then on to other destinations. Sadly his health declined and he could not complete his dream. Jim loved betting on the ponies and owned a couple of race horses in Vancouver. He also enjoyed the outdoors especially backpacking into remote fishing lakes, golfing, biking and skiing. Jim was a very meticulous person and lived by his mother's motto A job worth doing is worth doing well." Always the life of the party Jim was truly one of the good guys ".

On April 12th, 2022, Jacquelin Mamie Morris passed away at the age of 78 years old. She was born in Mercoal, Alberta on September 30th, 1943.
Jackie lived in Kamloops surrounded by family and friends. The job she retired from was as the Office Manager for Surplus Herby’s, where her feisty personality kept everyone on their toes. Jackie enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling, cross-stitching, and spending time with her grand-children and family. She enjoyed life to the fullest and had many adventures during her lifetime.
Everyone enjoyed Jackie’s company because of her fantastic sense of humour, her zest for life, and her love for those she spent time with. She was a caring and loving person who always went out of her way for others.
She leaves to mourn, her daughter Nicole Telford (Kevin), her grandchildren Logan and Tori Telford, her brothers Pat McGilvery (Betty) and Dan McGilvery (Bobbi), many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and their spouses, as well as her close friends.
Jackie was predeceased by her husband Dave Morris, and her two sisters Dola Hencheroff and Patricia Morse.
